An evolution of the TS-1650P, this target system incorporates a refined heat transfer geometry allowing for operation at higher intensity. Helium cooling is NOT required; eliminating helium cooling improves overall system reliability and eliminates a costly maintenance item.

Our first commercial target, the TS-1650P was introduced in 2008. This system was designed to operate at the maximum single beam capability of the cyclotron. Significant enriched water savings can be realized when compared to dual 50 µA targets. Helium cooling is NOT required; eliminating helium cooling improves overall system reliability and eliminates a costly maintenance item.
